Our 1st Grade read-aloud set includes the classic collection of children's stories called "Hive of Busy Bees," containing poignant lessons on Christian character, embedded in wonderful child-engaging narratives. Also included are biographical stories written for young children - Pilipinto (from Elizabeth Elliot's ministry in Ecuador), the pastor's wife, Susannah Spurgeon, and the Protestant Reformer, John Knox.
